In the Environmental Field Specialist program, the SkillBridge participant will gain general exposure to being a Field Service Technician/ Foreman. This will provide the fundamentals of working in the environmental industry and will be the starting point of learning the direction of interest within the large environmental/industrial services industry.During the program, the Skillbridge Participant will participate in a variety of training and role-related work opportunities. In addition to obtaining on the job work that may lead to a full-time offer, service members will:• Learn the Safety-First Culture of Clean Harbors by participating in all required training • Complete 24-hour or 40-hour HAZWOPER training and RCRA training certifications • Work with various divisions within the company to understand the major service lines that the company has to offer• Understand the different waste management technologies that Clean Harbors and Safety- Kleen have to offer i.e. landfill, waste to energy, fuel blending, wastewater treatment, recycling, incineration• Understand the various service line offerings that the company provides to customers• Understand the operational side of the business including customer service, administration, sales, and management
