VA - Tennessee Valley Healthcare System Supply Chain Management Service
The Supply Chain Management Service at TVHS is collaborating with the DOD SkillBridge program office to develop a VA SkillBridge program at Nashville and Murfreesboro, TN. Instituting an Inventory Management Specialist, Purchasing Agent and Supply Technician SkillBridge program at TVHS will enable VA to select, train and provide civilian job experience totransitioning Service members interested in careers at VA. This program will: Establish a program that develops a pipeline ofVA-trained Logisticians; Provide a structured training/internship opportunity that supports transitioning Service members’career goals and civilian transition; Support transitioning Service members in pursuing careers with VA and fill hard to recruit /retain positions with dedicated who understand the value of a career ladder and upward mobility.
