The successful candidate will function as a System Technical Trainer with the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Defense System out of Ft Bliss, Texas. You will assist the customer in instructing and teaching groups of personnel, on New Equipment Training (NET), Technical Concepts and Operations, Air Battle Management Training, and THAAD Missile Technical Escort Training. This will be in accordance with established Instructor Training Guidelines, US Army Air and Missile Defense Operations, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Technical Manuals (TMs), policies, procedures, and processes. The candidate will conduct training sessions, product demonstrations, and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training actvites. The candidate will be a member of an instructor/support team and will perform all duties under direct supervision from the customer. This position is designated as Mission Essen al with a requirement to train and certify personnel from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to sustain and maintain Missile Defense Operations. The candidate will support anything that leads up to working over me and nonstandard shifts, as necessary.

Job Responsibilities:• Provides DLADS and Factory support during core business hours.• Provides Level II Service Desk support.• Provides support to resolve service requests tickets for new installation or desktop configurations within defined service level expectations.• Executes up to 350 desktop computer recapitalizations/month as needed to include imaging and the removal/disposition of old computer.• Works closely with Hardware Technician (Desktop) support, Equipment Control Office (ECO), NASIC Property Custodians (NPC), and Logistics to schedule equipment pickup.• Adheres to NASIC Policies and procedures regarding proper handling of accountable equipment.• Receives, sanitizes, and prepares IT equipment for pickup; an estimated 375 pieces of IT equipment per month. IT equipment includes, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, mobile phones, servers, peripherals, printers, scanners, and multi-function devices.• Provides support for single function printers, multifunction printers, plotters, 3D printers, and flatbed scanners during the core work hours and on-call support for non-core hours as approved by the COR.• Provides Level II CFP support for all printers.• Be required to replace or install approximately up to 50 new printers per year.• Diagnoses and resolves printer/scanner/MFG requests/problems in a customer service oriented, team environment.• Resolves all printer trouble tickets within defined service level expectations.• Equipment to be installed and maintained includes Lexmark and HP printers and multi-function devices. Image desktop computers to include but not limited to Dell and HP models as well as various Mobile Devices such as laptops.• Equipment to be installed and maintained includes but is not limited to Dell and HP, Windows/Linux desktop computers (to include other AFWAY desktops and workstations), and various Linux workstations (to include Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
