This position is responsible for designing, drafting, and permitting civil/site projects in Delaware, Maryland Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Projects include a wide variety of exciting and challenging types from military, parks and recreation, marine, and commercial sites. Work with a team of engineers and designers to prepare plans, calculations, and permit applications for civil projects utilizing AUTOCAD, HydroCAD, Windows, Excel and other software. Assist in public presentations and hearings and client coordination/consultation. Provide direction to designers and drafters while working under the direction of a Senior Engineer. In addition, you will provide site grading design, cost estimating, specification development, regulatory agency coordination, cut/fill analysis, 3-D modelling, graphics/displays, field data collection, coordination with clients and other consultants, and other design services. Increasing design responsibilities will be assigned commensurate with abilities displayed.

In addition, you will provide site grading design, cut/fill analysis, 3-D modelling, graphics/displays, field data collection, coordination with clients and other consultants, and other design services under the direction of a Designer or Engineer. Increasing design responsibilities will be assigned commensurate with abilities displayed. Occasional maintenance and custodial work and errands as requested. This position does not require any formal training or certifications, although experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
