Licensed Practical Nurse - The Licensed Practical Nurse is an associate nurse for residents in an assigned coverage area. TheLPN is responsible to direct the daily care of the resident by ensuring RTWs are following theprescribed plan of care and through effective communication to the covering Registered Nurse. TheLPN will assist the resident to achieve and maintain his/her optimal mental and physical functioningthrough direct care and delegation of appropriate tasks to the RTW.The LPN is responsible to assure plans of care are followed as prescribed or changes are implementedto ensure safety of the resident.
