This SkillBridge internship offers a structured training program for transitioning service members interested in becoming a Capture Manager in the federal contracting sector. The program is divided into 30-day phases designed to build proficiency in identifying, pursuing, and managing government contract opportunities across agencies such as the Department of Defense (DoD), NASA, NOAA, and other federal organizations.The ideal candidate may not need an aerospace or engineering background but should bring strong business acumen, analytical skills, and a desire to learn federal acquisition and proposal management practices. The training roadmap focuses on opportunity scanning, partner engagement, capability negotiation, and proposal participation while providing opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams supporting NASA and NOAA systems.
