DOD SkillBridge Recruiting Internship: Job DescriptionSteris: Equipment Service Installer InternThe incumbent for this position should expect to be a hands-on installer that builds trust and effective relationships with our customers. Interns will receive a combination of hands-on, classroom-style and computer-based training, which will enable them to perform installations and start-up of autoclaves as well as exposure and experience with installations across product lines. Equipment Service Technicians Internship Program

STERIS Equipment Service Technician Internship The purpose of this internship is to provide interns with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to transition to full time employment as a STERIS Equipment Service Technician I. The internship will focus on autoclave equipment repair and maintenance, with the regular, full-time role inclusive of training and servicing of additional equipment. The internship may also involve installation of the full range of STERIS equipment from infection prevention through audio video integration. The incumbent for this position should expect to be a hands-on technician that builds trust and effective relationships with our Customers. Interns will receive a combination of hands-on, classroom-style and computer-based training, which will enable them to perform preventive maintenance and repairs focused on autoclaves as well as exposure and experience with installations across product lines. This role is performed in a highly regulated work environment requiring the ability to meet Customer credentialing and STERIS requirements, safe work practices, and adherence to STERIS and Customer standards.
