The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in both acute care and intensive care settings. Responsibilities include assessment of respiratory status, administration of therapeutic treatments, management of invasive and non‑invasive mechanical ventilation, airway management, and performance of diagnostic procedures. The therapist collaborates with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient‑centered care plans, ensures accurate documentation in the electronic health record, and adheres to all safety, regulatory, and infection‑prevention standards. This role requires strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, effective communication skills, and the ability to function independently in a civilian healthcare environment.
The Surgical Equipment Specialist is responsible for being familiar with the operation/location of medical video equipment, endoscopic equipment/systems, microscopes, and specialized technology equipment.
Works in a supportive capacity for the anesthesiologists and CRNAs. Responsible for making sure that the OR rooms are set up with necessary supplies and equipment and that equipment and supply stock is maintained.
