The Detroit Fruit Drop SkillBridge Program is a 6-month hands-on business operations and leadership development program designed to prepare transitioning Service members for careers in operations management, business development, logistics coordination, customer relationship management, and entrepreneurial business growth.Participants will work directly under the mentorship and instruction of the Owner and Founder of Detroit Fruit Drop while gaining practical experience managing day-to-day operations, improving logistical efficiency, supporting revenue growth initiatives, and developing corporate partnerships throughout the Metro Detroit area.This training program combines structured mentorship, operational leadership development, business strategy exposure, and hands-on field experience to provide Service members with transferable civilian management and growth-oriented business skills.
Job description:
The Operations & Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting company operations, coordinating logistics and delivery activities, improving operational efficiency, assisting with customer acquisition efforts, developing strategic partnerships, and supporting revenue growth initiatives.Upon completion of the SkillBridge training program, the participant will be prepared to perform duties including:• Managing operational workflows• Coordinating delivery logistics and scheduling• Conducting business development outreach• Developing client relationships• Supporting sales and revenue growth initiatives• Assisting with strategic planning and organizational scaling• Managing customer service and account retention efforts• Identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies• Supporting inventory and vendor coordination• Leading projects and growth initiatives in a small business environment
