Job description:
The Equinix DOD SkillBridge Internship Program offers wide-ranging opportunities in Information Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, Finance, and more. Spend your time gaining practical work experience and learning from some of the sharpest minds in the industry. Work in a culture that thrives on innovation and delivering results, while building solid relationships with industry leaders from around the country. Overall, the function will be determined based on your transferrable skillset and career endeavors in the ability to impact the growth and progression of Equinix as a whole. However, a successful internship would see the potential in developing innovative solutions, leverage cutting-edge technologies to make Interconnection platforms even better. Collaborate with the technical minds in building reliable products, researching concepts, and influencing new ideas to design, build, test and deploy modular components that will impact the way the enterprise manages its distributed infrastructure.

Eligibility factors:
All Services
Must meet all eligibility requirements outlined in DOD Instruction 1322.29 and NAVADMIN 222/15. Required: Official TAD/ TDY Orders to Equinix for the period of the internship. Required: Technical Associates Degree, military technical school, or civilian technical trade school completion. Minimum of two years' formal training or four years progressive responsibility and experience fabricating, assembling, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic/mechanical systems, and small valve maintenance, including high pressure air/liquid power and control equipment (pumps, valves, etc). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Must be a US Citizen who is not a dual citizen of any other country. Prefer active DOD Secret security clearance or higher.
