Job description:
The successful candidate for this Skilled Assembly & Production Specialist position will take responsibility for numerous aspects of in-house assembly of industrial 3D printers. This includes building printer components, preparing subassemblies, coordinating and refining written documentation, and training teammates. The Specialist will also conduct quality assurance procedures to ensure the efficient and precise production of company hardware and components. This is an ideal opportunity for a creative, responsible, self-motivated team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and contribute to our mission of building 3D printers to the highest manufacturing standards possible.The successful candidate will participate in the culture and values of our company, reinforcing the soft and social skills necessary for transitioning service members to succeed in the civilian work environment. Among other requirements, the Specialist will build strong team relationships; follow and uphold all company policies, procedures, and guidelines; and work closely with operations staff, product engineers, customer support, and other team members to troubleshoot assembly and maintenance issues, improve product designs, and refine workflows. Our goal for the candidate is to enable them to transition to civilian life in a positive, upbeat, collaborative setting and prepare them for future professional success. We prefer candidates who have had a minimum of five years in manufacturing operations. This position is an interim/onboarding position with potential for transition to permanent employment at the completion of the candidateship, contingent upon successful evaluation of performance and fit. Prospective pay to be determined based on experience and performance, within the range of $23-30 hourly.
