InCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the construction and service needs of its customers as part of our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team. The Electrical Technician will work collaboratively under supervision to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain electric vehicle (EV) charging systems while ensuring adherence to InCharge Energy’s industry-leading safety and quality standards.This role is integral to building a versatile team of technicians who are trained across multiple functions, including pre-commissioning in a warehouse setting and field installations at client sites. The Electrical Technician will gain exposure to diverse departments and tasks, laying a foundation for long-term professional growth and skill development.Installation and Commissioning of EV Chargers– • Perform in-field installation of electrical infrastructure, including running conduit and wiring. • Commission Level 2 and Level 3 EV chargers to meet operational standards.• Assist with associated civil work, such as trenching and site preparation.Troubleshooting and Maintenance – • Diagnose and repair issues with EV charging infrastructure under supervision. • Perform regularly scheduled maintenance to ensure charger functionality. • Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex technical problems. Project Coordination and Support – • Assist in coordinating with third-party vendors and subcontractors for installations• Help coordinate material and equipment procurement alongside supervisors.• Support logistics and scheduling for field operations.Documentation and Reporting – • Contribute to maintaining accurate project documentation using Procore, Field Lightning, etc. • • Provide updates during team meetings and participate in weekly evaluations. Safety Compliance and Training –• Adhere to all safety protocols, including OSHA standards and company policies.• Participate in ongoing training modules and work towards certifications (e.g., EVITP). • Utilize PPE and promote a safety-first mindset on all projects.
