Explore the mapThe United Association Veterans in Piping (UA VIP) HVACR Program is a Department of Defense SkillBridge training opportunity designed to prepare transitioning active-duty service members for careers in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) industry. Participants receive intensive, hands-on training focused on the technical skills, safety practices, equipment, and industry standards used in the HVACR trade.The program combines classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training to help participants develop job-ready HVACR skills and prepare for a successful transition into civilian employment. Upon successful completion, participants may have the opportunity to pursue placement with a United Association local union and continue their career development through a registered apprenticeship in the HVACR and pipe trades.
