Job description:
Serve as one of the Regional Administrative Mission Support Specialists within the Regional Admin Branch providing direct mission and business support to an SES Regional Director, senior regional leadership, the Regional Office and geographically-distributed field staff. Core Admin functions include human capital, travel management, fleet management, records management, executive secretariat, asset/property management, facility logistics, training, supply/procurement/shipping, meeting planning support, and budget/financial management support. Assignments include:• Provides support to the regional Human Capital functions. This includes, but is not limited to, pay and personnel issues, hiring support, onboarding, off-boarding, awards and recognition, performance management, and timekeeping. Supports day to day Human Capital inquiries and collaborates with CISA/IOD Human Capital on a variety of issues or concerns. Supports all required activities with new regional employee onboarding and the offboarding of separating or transferring employees.• Provides support to the regional travel functions. Maintains knowledge of travel management rules and policies, as provided by GSA, DHS and CISA and supports Region 9 travel management operations ensuring compliance with these policies. Advises Region 9 leadership of compliance concerns or issues.• Supports the facilitation of general-mandated training (GMT) and Professional and Personal Development training programs and functions executed in the Region. Provides reports that track employee training status to Regional Director and headquarters personnel, as needed.
