The press operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through the setup, operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of automatic and semi-automatic production equipment. This role works from process sheets, drawings, and written or verbal instructions to produce parts in accordance with established quality and production standards. The position requires attention to details, basic mathematical ability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to safely operate production equipment while verifying product quality and dimensional accuracy throughout the manufacturing process
Job description:
This role will provide full training. Successful candidates will be looking for a hands-on role, have strong math skills, and be mechanically inclined.Once trained, you will set up and operate a wide variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of our products. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks. High School Diploma or equivalent required.Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted.Math skills – ability to complete basic calculations, e.g., converting fractions to decimals.Knowledge of measuring tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc. required.Experience in a manufacturing setting is strongly desired
