The Directional Drill Operator SkillBridge program provides transitioning Service Members with accelerated training and hands-on experience in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) operations used in telecommunications infrastructure deployment. Participants complete all required safety and compliance training during the first week, followed by two weeks of supervised on-the-job training in live field environments. This program prepares participants to safely support and operate HDD equipment for the installation of fiber optic conduit and related underground telecom facilities, while adhering to OSHA, utility damage prevention, and environmental protection standards.
Job description:
The Directional Drill Operator is responsible for directional drill operation, reading prints and driving. This role performs tasks involving physical labor at road/highway sites and heavy construction projects. Involves 75% Travel for the full-time position.
The locations we are hiring for currently are in Nevada and Arizona. All training will be at our Training Campus in Las Vegas, Nevada.
