It contains a checklist of things you will need to do when hiring apprentices such as how to supplement your onboarding process, how to provide on-the-job training (OJT) and develop your trainers/mentors, how to determine and evaluate learning outcomes, how to manage your apprentice on the job and the documentation you will need to record that work as a Registered Apprenticeship, a sample wage progression chart, a sample job description, a checklist of IAP-required competencies, the academic coursework provided by University of California San Diego, and when to provide OJT competency training to your apprentice over the two-year apprenticeship timeframe.
