This is job-first employment and training program. Our Master Tractor Trailer program delivers full-service CDL employment and training. The program meets the industry standard 160 hours of training, allowing up to 190 hours of scheduled training. Approved participants can attend a hybrid schedule of online and in-person, but they are required to attend a minimum of 2 weeks or 110hours (up to 16 days) for Behind-The-Wheel vehicle training at an approved campus. Upon completion of training, participants will be scheduled for their CDL Skills test to obtain their Class A CDL.
Professional Commercial Drivers average $1,400 weekly in their first year. Opportunities to advance into Logistics Management, Dispatch, or Driver Trainers are available after 6 months. Employers provide additional benefits and opportunities. These roles include routes that are over-the-road, regional, home-nightly, and local.
This program runs nationwide rather than in a single state, so there is no one state wage benchmark to show for it.
