During the SkillBridge internship, participants will gain hands-on experience across Ready-Mix, Aggregates, Cement, and Supply Chain operations while developing leadership and operational management skills. • Gain hands-on experience across Ready-Mix, Aggregates, Cement, and Supply Chain operations while developing leadership and operational management skills. • Learn and apply industry-leading safety standards through daily safety meetings, field observations, audits, and compliance initiatives. • Observe and support daily plant operations while learning production processes, scheduling, dispatch coordination, delivery logistics, inventory, and raw material management. • Complete operational improvement projects focused on process optimization, production efficiency, safety improvements, equipment reliability, and data analysis/reporting. • Present project findings and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the program. • Build civilian leadership capabilities by working closely with plant managers and operations leaders while developing strategic thinking, operational planning, and business decision-making skills. • Participate in leadership discussions, operational reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Logistics, Quality Control, Maintenance, Safety, and Human Resources teams. • Develop a professional network and gain exposure to how large-scale industrial operations function.
