The Mechanical Assembler performs assembly, disassembly, refurbishment, troubleshooting, fixturing, repair, and quality verification of industrial mechanical and hydraulic equipment in a made-to-order manufacturing environment. This role works from engineering drawings, procedures, and project requirements to build and restore components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. The position uses hand and power tools, supports setup and calibration activities, performs fabrication-related tasks, identifies mechanical issues, and assists with rework and corrective actions. The assembler communicates daily with supervisors, engineers, project managers, and production personnel while maintaining strict safety, quality, and schedule expectations.

The Mechanical Assembler performs assembly, disassembly, refurbishment, troubleshooting, fixturing, repair, and quality verification of industrial mechanical and hydraulic equipment in a made-to-order manufacturing environment. This role works from engineering drawings, procedures, and project requirements to build and restore components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. The position uses hand and power tools, supports setup and calibration activities, performs fabrication-related tasks, identifies mechanical issues, and assists with rework and corrective actions. The assembler communicates daily with supervisors, engineers, project managers, and production personnel while maintaining strict safety, quality, and schedule expectations. Eligibility factors:

Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force
Three to five years of mechanical assembly experience involving hydraulic equipment such as valves, cylinders, pumps, or actuators is preferred. Experience with metal fabrication activities, including drilling, tapping, grinding, and cutting, is strongly desired. The role requires the ability to follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and established procedures, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and made-to-order manufacturing. Experience with piping and tubing assemblies is preferred. Forklift and overhead crane experience is desirable. Strong troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, safety awareness, and the ability to adapt to changing production demands are required.
