The function of this position is to provide reliable, high-quality customer support through on-site inspecting, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing fire alarm equipment as well as conducting preventative maintenance services pertaining to many different manufacturers’ equipment.
Job description:
Installation and programming of fire protection alarm systems for commercial applications (including piping, valves, and accessories). Service, Test, and Inspect Fire Alarm systems. Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner. Must prepare accurate and timely documentation for work performed, complete monthly vehicle reports, and maintain truck inventory to ensure proper response to customers’ needs. Documentation of time and work will be done through our inspection and service platforms as well as 3rd party sites. On- Call service rotation is required. Build and maintain relationships with customers. Up-sell all AFPG services to include SHAD, sprinkler installation, and monitoring. Meet responsibilities to the customer, fellow team members and AFPG by arriving on the job on time, ready to work, every day.
