Intelligence Operations Specialist
The intern supports TSA Intelligence and Analysis operations by leading advanced analysis of known or suspected terrorist transportation-related encounters; establishing research scope and analytic approaches; identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, intelligence gaps, and emerging threats; producing and reviewing strategic encounter reports, threat assessments, intelligence information reports, and executive briefings; supporting targeting, watchlisting, reporting, and enhanced-vetting activities; conducting authorized publicly available information research; mentoring analysts; improving standard operating procedures and job aids; and representing TSA with DHS, Intelligence Community, screening, and law-enforcement partners.
