This includes assisting supervisors and their staff in drawback offices by supporting brokers and prospective claimants through the claim processing stages and addressing routine questions. A key responsibility is the meticulous receipt, validation (including date/time stamping), and review of incoming mail/claims and documents to ensure they meet all regulatory requirements for completeness and compliance.The position also entails coordinating and entering information into automated systems, reconciling accounts, and resolving errors found in collection documents and error reports, often in collaboration with drawback specialists.
