Great Hearts America
Apprentice Teachers (ATs) at Great Hearts serve as an essential classroom partner, supporting Lead Teachers in cultivating a rigorous, classical liberal arts education. ATs assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and small-group instruction while gradually growing in instructional responsibilities. ATs receive mentorship and professional development as they prepare for future lead teaching roles. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the Western tradition, character formation, and a career in classical education. ATs are not required to hold a four-year degree or a state teaching certification. Lead Teachers are required to hold a four-year degree from an accredited college/university.
