FCPD SkillBridge Program
The Fairfax County Police Department is seeking motivated police recruits to work and learn at the Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy in Chantilly, Virginia. The successful candidate will participate in a practical, structured, systematic program of on-the-job training AND related instruction to develop existing military technical experience. You will earn real-world law enforcement qualifications and certifications, learn from seasoned police officers, receive premiere law enforcement academy training, and build experience and competency towards becoming a Fairfax County Police Officer. Participants will be required to complete the full hiring process for a Fairfax County Police Officer I or II position prior to beginning the FCPD SkillBridge Program. This consists of the initial application, personal history questionnaire, polygraph examination, physical abilities test, background investigation, psychological evaluation, and a medical exam.
