General Dynamics Land Systems is operating as an approved DoD SkillBridge Industry Partner. This program is open to all ranks and all branches.Must be eligible for DoD SkillBridge Program and meet SkillBridge qualifications, including:Is within their last 180 days on active duty.Will receive an honorable discharge.Received written authorization and approval from his/her Unit Commander to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program.The General Dynamics Land Systems SkillBridge Internship Program provides an opportunity for Service members to transition from service to industry. Our 151 to 180-day internship assignments provide real-world exposure to day-to-day activities in departments and hands-on training opportunities to re-skill and up-skill. Participants are not eligible for compensation from GDLS, as they continue to receive DOD compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. Service members receive supervision and mentorship from experienced professionals in respective fields, are included as part of the team within the department.
