Job Description – Input checks, deposits, journal entries for various businesses and individuals. Prepare bank reconciliations for each business. In addition, many businesses will have us prepare its payroll each pay period. You will input hours for employees, calculate overtime pay, paid time off calculations, salaried employee calculations, and employee benefit withholdings such as health insurance premiums, & retirement plan withholdings. You will be responsible for preparing payroll tax deposits for Federal and State payments; prepare the quarterly payroll tax returns for Federal withholding, FICA and Medicare taxes, Federal Unemployment taxes, State withholding, and State unemployment taxes.
