Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) Associate Intership
This role presents a unique opportunity for transitioning service members to apply their leadership and organizational skills at the state-level educational governance level. Unlike other roles, the Associate Intern will gain exposure to multiple divisions within CPE, including academic excellence, workforce development, and economic development, as well as policy planning. The position enables direct engagement in key state initiatives, including the statewide transfer strategy, providing hands-on experience in public administration and educational reform. Over the internship, the Associate Intern will be involved in several high-impact initiatives, including the implementation of CPE’s updated strategic plan, the execution of new workforce development programs, and enhancements to the state’s transfer policies. One of the primary challenges will be navigating the evolving postsecondary landscape while addressing gaps in educational access and aligning programs with the demands of the workforce.
