Skillbridge Intern Training Curriculum – Industrial Electrician Pre-ApprenticeshipWeek 1: New Hire Orientation• Orientation• Safety training• Food safety / GMP training• Policy review / Handbook• PPE / Tool Assignment• Facility ToursWeeks 2-6: Job Shadow current E&I Journeyman and Master Electricians• Work closely with current electrical and mechanical team members• Shadow will include:o Meeting various team members under Maintenance umbrellao Observing troubleshooting, corrective and precautionary safety actionso Exposure to and learning of CMMS, department operations and leadership expectations• Individuals will learn basic skills needed to be an entry level industrial electriciano Prior electrical experience is required for this education to succeed.Weeks 7-12+: Assume basic electrical responsibilities• Study NEC electrical code• Learned established day-to-day routines for equipment preventative maintenance.• Identify equipment issues through learning troubleshooting techniques and bringing machines back online.• Communicate effectively with peers and leadership on work completion and follow-up needed.• Develop relationships with electrical engineering staff, current electrical team and maintenance management• Prioritize employees and food safety.• Make recommendations for improvement.Final Week: Summary of Learning• Prepare presentation on key learnings and recommendations for improvements• Present to leadership at the facility
