Facility Services - Developmental Technician Program (General Maintenance)
The SkillBridge Military Fellowship will prepare participants to be considered for a Developmental Technician – General Facilities Maintenance role with Walmart upon completion of the program. This is a temporary SkillBridge training opportunity not to exceed 180 days, with duration aligned to the Service member’s approved SkillBridge window. The current program structure is a 12-week fellowship consisting of five weeks of classroom instruction at UHP in Gentry, Arkansas, followed by seven weeks of on-the-job training at a Walmart field location.Qualified candidates may be interviewed and matched to specific fellowship opportunities and locations based on business requirements, candidate qualifications, and location availability.The objective of the program is to provide quality skill development to all participants. While job opportunities may be available after program completion, an offer of full-time employment is not guaranteed.
