The Electrical Pathway at the Volt Center is an intensive workforce training program designed to launch careers in the electrical trades. Utilizing the industry-recognized NCCER curriculum, students receive hands-on training in blueprint reading, National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance, and the installation of residential and commercial wiring. Graduates leave fully equipped with the safety credentials and practical skills needed to secure immediate employment as electrical helpers, industrial maintenance trainees, and low-voltage technicians.
This 319 clock hour course will provide training on both residential and some commercial applications. Course topics will include: Construction Safety Orientation Power/Hand Tools Construction Math Construction Drawings Instrumentation Basic soldering practices Residential comfort sizing Advanced Comfort Systems Basic Refrigeration and much more.
