The Industrial Marine Project Manager SkillBridge Trainee participates in a structured 26-week, full-time training program designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to manage ship repair and modernization projects in a shipyard and waterfront industrial environment. Through a combination of formal instruction and primarily hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT), the trainee will learn to plan, coordinate, and execute complex multi-trade work while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and contractual requirements. The program includes completion of the OSHA-10 Maritime certification and culminates in a capstone assignment designed to demonstrate readiness for entry-level project management or project superintendent roles in the industrial marine sector. This training opportunity is intended for transitioning service members seeking to enter the ship repair, marine construction, or waterfront industrial workforce in a leadership track.
