Accounting Specialist - Internship
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist Intern, who will successfully complete our structured accounting internship program. This role is designed for a candidate who is ready to take ownership of small client accounts and perform full-cycle bookkeeping under light supervision.By the end of 6 months, the intern should be able to:1. Execute a full monthly bookkeeping cycle independently.2. Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations.3. Prepare adjusting journal entries (accruals, prepaids, depreciation, loans).4. Generate and analyze financial statements.5. Assist with sales tax, 1099s, and payroll processing.6. Communicate professionally with clients.7. Follow standardized internal accounting workflows.8. Identify bookkeeping errors and propose corrective actions.
