This opportunity allows active-duty military personnel within 180 days of separation to gain valuable civilian work experience while continuing to receive military pay and benefits through the Department of Defense.Participants will complete a comprehensive technician development program through Tom Wood University, combining classroom learning, online training, and supervised shop experience. The program is designed to build the skills necessary for a successful career as an Automotive Maintenance Technician.Position SummaryThe SkillBridge Automotive Technician Trainee participates in a structured training program focused on vehicle maintenance, automotive repair fundamentals, safety procedures, diagnostics, and professional development. Participants work alongside experienced automotive technicians and dedicated mentors while developing the technical competencies necessary to transition into a full-time automotive service career.This program requires no prior automotive experience.
