The Environmental Services & Wildlife Control SkillBridge Program provides transitioning service members with full‑time, hands‑on training in tree and shrub care, invasive plant management, pesticide and herbicide operations, and nuisance wildlife control. Over 120 days, participants progress through structured weekly modules covering safety, regulatory compliance, plant and pest identification, supervised pesticide application practices, and wildlife control conducted under proper permits. The program blends classroom-style instruction with supervised fieldwork to build real-world technical skills while preparing the participant for Ohio pesticide applicator licensing, nuisance wildlife permitting, and employment in the environmental services industry. This training is designed to support a smooth transition into a civilian career, with the potential for post‑program employment based on performance and business needs.
