The Plumbing Intern Program provides transitioning service members with hands-on training and real-world exposure to residential and commercial plumbing systems. Interns work alongside plumbers and experienced technicians to develop practical skills in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing infrastructure.Participants gain experience reading blueprints and plumbing diagrams, installing piping systems, troubleshooting leaks and blockages, assembling plumbing fixtures, and properly using professional plumbing tools and equipment. The program emphasizes workplace safety, building codes, and industry best practices while developing foundational knowledge of water distribution systems, drainage systems, and basic plumbing integration.Throughout the internship, participants develop technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and professional work habits necessary for entry-level plumbing careers or apprenticeship opportunities.
