Instruction Focus (Condensed):1. Orientation & Workflow: EMR, protocols, trauma activations, ICU workflowa. Learning Objective: Understand organizational structure, documentation workflows, trauma activation processes, ICU protocols, rounding structure, and interdisciplinary communication standards.2. Core Trauma & Critical Care: Ventilators, ABGs, vasoactive medication management, early decompensation recognitiona. Learning Objective: Demonstrate competency in managing ventilators, interpreting arterial blood gases, titrating vasoactive drips, and recognizing early signs of decompensation in critically ill and poly‑trauma patients.3. Advanced Procedures: Chest tubes, central/arterial lines, bronchoscopy, invasive monitoringa. Learning Objective: Perform advanced bedside procedures—including chest tubes, central and arterial lines, bronchoscopy—and proficiently utilize invasive monitoring tools (CVP, arterial waveform interpretation, ICP when applicable).4. Trauma Resuscitation & OR Coordination: High‑acuity resuscitation, perioperative transitionsa. Learning Objective: Execute high‑acuity trauma resuscitations, participate in OR coordination, assist in emergent bedside procedures, and lead transitions of care for trauma and surgical ICU patients.5.
