Public Safety Talent Acquisition
The Law Enforcement Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) internship prepares transitioning service members to support workforce development, talent acquisition, recruiting optimization, and program management initiatives within public safety organizations. Participants learn how to work with city, county, and state law enforcement agencies to develop sustainable recruiting pipelines, implement Department of Defense SkillBridge programs, improve candidate selection processes, and support long-term workforce planning efforts.The program emphasizes professional communication, stakeholder engagement, organizational consulting, project management, workforce analysis, and recruiting operations. Participants gain experience interacting with executive leadership, human resources professionals, recruiting units, and operational personnel while developing transferable civilian career skills applicable to talent acquisition, workforce development, recruiting management, consulting, and program administration.
