Heavy Haul Specialized Driver Program
Legion1 Logistics is proud to offer a DoD SkillBridge training program specifically designed for transitioning Army Heavy Equipment Operators (88M) with military driver training and experience seeking a career in specialized heavy-haul trucking. In partnership with Hill College (Hillsboro, TX), this program bridges military heavy-equipment transport experience directly into a civilian Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) and a career hauling oversized and over-dimensional (OS/OD) freight. Program participants receive hands-on CDL training and mentorship from experienced heavy-haul professionals, along with a direct pathway to full-time employment with leading heavy-haul carriers upon separation — allowing veterans to translate the skills, discipline, and safety standards built in uniform into the highest-paid segment of the civilian trucking industry.
