While on the internship, the participant will receive on the job training and gain a practical knowledge of the methods, procedure, and instrumentation used in hydrologic studies. Hydrologic Technicians gather information on the quantity, quality, availability, movement and distribution of ground water and surface water. They also evaluate water samples and data and carry out related duties that support the professional work in Hydrology.
