The program is designed to provide career training for a Chief of Staff position at a startup-sized government contracting firm. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, detail-oriented professional who is interested in national security and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, team-based environment. Candidates should have excellent writing skills and be proficient in drafting background papers, executive products, and presentations. We are looking for a candidate who possesses exceptional communication skills and the ability to learn and synthesize complex information quickly and effectively. The program will run approximately 2-3 months. Learning will be measured through goal mapping with the candidate’s direct supervisor and completion of the leadership professional development series. The Position will enable the candidate to see all the verticals of a startup business: government relations, go-to-market strategies, business risk management, national capital region influencers, and CFO/budgeting decision-making.
