Position Summary: The Intern, InfoSec Business Enablement Engineer is an expert in various technologies, providing consultation to help IT teams secure their systems. The role focuses on advocating for security and IT, identifying innovative solutions, creating reusable guidance that addresses common security problems, and validating systems to improve their security and enable self-service across the organization. Responsibilities include deploying new security tools, supporting key projects, and assisting with mergers and acquisitions.The position requires a strong understanding of security standards and the ability to assess new systems against these standards while ensuring security and business agility.

The Cyber Defense Operations (CDO) Team is responsible for identifying and managing cyber risks and leading operational remediation projects for both ship and shore. For ships the focus is to reduce risk to passenger, crew, and RCCL shipboard assets. The goal of the CDO Program is to provide cybersecurity architectural and engineering guidance on projects and strategy driven by shoreside business, marine operations, newbuild, and shipboard IT organization to appropriately manage operational, regulatory, and safety risks as well as optimizing investments by reducing future remediation efforts.The Intern, CDO Engineer assists with the execution of the CDO strategy and program initiatives at RCL. The role will partner with subject matter experts, peers and leaders across RCL shore and shipboard lines of business regarding cyber risks.  The role will be an individual contributor providing cyber risk management and assurance expertise so that systems located within or connected to RCL environments (Shoreside cyber tools, IT hotel operations systems, OT navigation/bridge, and marine engineering), have been implemented and maintained, adhering to cybersecurity guidelines, and corporate information security standards, maritime regulations. This position will also help influence IT and maritime business units to raise awareness of the cybersecurity space and their role in ensuring the overall safety of our passengers, crew, shoreside systems and maritime IT/OT/ET systems.

As a Intern, Threat Hunter, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and combating cyber threats within our organization. Your expertise will be vital in conducting threat hunts, integrating threat intelligence, and supporting incident response efforts. This position demands a keen understanding of advanced cyber threats, innovative thinking for designing and implementing security measures, and a collaborative approach to enhance our overall security posture.
