The Field Services Leadership team has more than 30 years of experiences collectively which provides a great opportunity for new team members to learn, grow, and bridge skill sets.The Field Services Engineering team is critical to supporting our customers by installing, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment to maintain electrical power services globally. S&C provides solutions for customers worldwide. At the end of the training program, Service Member will be a Field Service Technician. The Power Systems team has developed a training program to provide new team members with training in the following areas. • Intro to Power Distribution Systems (There are basic concepts and terminology commonly used in power distribution systems, both internally by S&C and by our customers) 120Hrs. max• Power Systems & Devices (The goal is to gain a basic familiarity with each device before gaining hands-on experience or working in the field. 80 Hrs max• Maintenance, Installation, & Repair (Participation in workshops, application of knowledge learned, partnering with Field Service Engineering team to practice and exhibit skilled learned to prepare for work in the field. 200hrs max Job Title: Upon completion of the Field Service Technician training courses, this SkillBridge training program will prepare the Service member to become a Field Service Technician.
