Key Responsibilities: Design Meet with clients to discuss project goals, preferences, and budget. Create landscape designs, sketches, and layouts that incorporate plants, hardscapes, and outdoor features. Provide material lists, estimates, and project timelines. Modify designs based on customer feedback and site conditions. Ensure all designs align with industry best practices and site requirements. Installation Perform installation of plants, trees, mulch, sod, hardscape elements, and other landscape materials. Operate power equipment and hand tools safely and effectively (e.g., skid steer, trenchers, augers). Ensure proper grading, drainage, and soil preparation. Load, transport, and unload materials and equipment as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Project Execution & Customer Service Communicate professionally with clients throughout the job. Oversee or assist with crew tasks to ensure work is completed to design specs and quality standards. Troubleshoot on-site issues and adjust plans as needed. Complete projects within established timelines and budgets. Qualifications: Experience in landscape design and installation (1–3+ years preferred). Ability to read and create landscape plans, sketches, or digital designs. Strong knowledge of plants, materials, and landscape construction practices. Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Preferred Skills (Not Required): Experience with design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Dynascape, ProLandscape). Experience leading a crew or supervising projects.
