- The SkillBridge tour member will be trained in work related to the development of tools, equipment, information, and procedures with specialized application to ground, underwater and air delivered ordnance, U.S. and foreign- He/she will learn how to perform as a project officer for assigned projects and how to advise on munitions technology, Explosive Ordnance Disposal applications, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal procedures by collecting technical data for assigned project; reviewing and analyzing information; devising detailed step-by-step procedures for use for Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians so they may render safe and dispose of specific munitions items or weapons systems items or weapons systems

The SkillBridge tour member will be cross-trained as an Engineering Technician in core manufacturing capabilities and processes including, but are not limited to, explosive manufacturing, warhead processing, extrusion processing, highly-oxidized propellants, rocket grain and composite propellants, explosive pressing, explosive machining, small and large rocket motor assembly, rework, and production, continuity testing, inspections, and packout.

The SkillBridge tour member will be cross-trained as an Explosive Equipment/Testing Specialist in all phases of test and evaluation of Explosive Ordnance Disposal equipment (to include, but are not limited to, conceptualization, writing test plans, coordinating assets and resources, field testing, data collection and analysis, reporting, and briefing results. He/she will learn to develop, evaluate, test, and maintain a wide range of specialized and unique laboratory and field test instrumentation and equipment as well as commercial off-the-shelf tools and specialized equipment for use in Explosive Ordnance Disposal technology and acquisition programs. He/she will acquire the knowledge of how to serve in a test support or test director role as assigned on projects and how to advise on equipment and Explosive Ordnance Disposal procedure technology. He/she will gain an understanding on how to operate instrumentation and test equipment to support collection of test data.

The SkillBridge tour member will be trained as an Equipment Administrative/Technical Specialist in work related to the development of tools, equipment, information, and procedures with specialized application to ground, underwater and air delivered ordnance, U.S. and foreign. He/she will learn how to perform as a project officer for assigned projects and how to advise on munitions technology, EOD applications, and EOD procedures by collecting technical data for assigned project; reviewing and analyzing information; devising detailed step-by-step procedures for use for EOD technicians so they may render safe and dispose of specific munitions items or weapons systems items or weapons systems.
