Provides support to Manager of Security in all phases of the Security Administration Office functions. Position reports to the Security Administration Supervisor of Security Dept. Brings expertise, excellence and commitment to protecting some of our Nation’s most valuable assets by maintaining internal contacts with all departments, outside agencies, vendors and other organizations. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, exceptional customer service skills, situational awareness, and thrive in a fast paced, continually changing environment.

Responsible for receiving, delivering and processing external and internal mail. Reports to the Manager of Plant Security. Maintains contacts with all departments. External contacts include courier service providers and the United States Post Office. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.

As a NASSCO Fire Department Skillbridge Intern, he/she will have the opportunity to observe/ participate in the day to day conditions of an all hazards fire department. The intern will participate in training exercises and supervised hands on evolutions. At the end of internship, candidate will gain necessary tools to help with application process to an established SFT F/F1 academy.
