Explore the mapThe Krispy Kreme Recruiting and Talent Acquisition SkillBridge Program is a structured, supervised work-based learning opportunity designed to prepare transitioning service members for civilian careers in recruiting, talent acquisition, recruiting operations, and related human resources roles.Participants will train alongside Krispy Kreme’s recruiting team and gain practical experience supporting the full recruiting lifecycle in a multi-location business environment. Training will combine observation, guided practice, coaching, assigned projects, and progressively independent work.Participants will develop job-ready skills in workforce planning, requisition support, candidate sourcing, applicant screening, interview coordination, candidate experience, applicant tracking system documentation, recruiting compliance, selection and offer support, preboarding, recruiting analytics, and process improvement.
During the program, the SkillBridge participant will:• Learn Krispy Kreme’s end-to-end recruiting process and the roles of recruiters, hiring leaders, and HR partners.• Support intake meetings, requisition organization, job-posting preparation, and recruiting-priority tracking.• Develop sourcing strategies using approved job boards, professional networks, community partners, military-affiliated channels, and internal candidate pipelines.• Review resumes against job-related criteria and conduct or observe structured initial candidate screens under supervision.• Coordinate interviews and communicate professionally with candidates, recruiters, hiring leaders, and HR partners.• Maintain accurate and confidential candidate records within the applicant tracking system.• Follow approved candidate dispositioning, documentation, confidentiality, and equal employment opportunity practices.• Support selection discussions, offer processes, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding handoffs.• Review recruiting metrics and prepare reports or summaries regarding recruiting performance.• Complete a capstone project focused on improving a recruiting process or candidate experience.QUALIFICATIONS• Current service member eligible and approved to participate in the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.• Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, operations, customer service, or business administration.• Professional written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to protect confidential information and exercise appropriate judgment.• Ability to organize competing priorities and learn new systems.• Ability to work collaboratively with candidates, recruiters, hiring leaders, and HR partners.• No specific MOS, MOC, rating, or AFSC is required.• Experience in recruiting, personnel, administration, training, customer service, operations, or leadership is helpful but not required.
