Job description:
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of Royal Peacock Opal Mine, ensuring that all departments run smoothly and efficiently. This role includes managing staff, handling financial operations, coordinating recreational digging activities, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The General Manager will also be tasked with strategic planning, developing business growth initiatives, and ensuring the mine operates in accordance with local regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role. The Grounds Keeper will maintain the mine's property, ensuring the landscape and facilities are clean, well-kept, and safe for visitors. This role involves a variety of outdoor tasks, including general landscaping, repairing infrastructure, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring the overall aesthetic appeal of the property. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions are key to success in this role. The Operations Manager will focus on optimizing daily operations at the mine, overseeing logistics, and coordinating between various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
