Job description:
Requirements Key ResponsibilitiesLocate and accurately pull orders according to pick tickets (minimum 130 pieces/hour, 150 pieces/hour average)Stage completed orders on the dock for shippingLoad checked orders onto trucks as neededPull and prepare shorted items when assignedEnsure accuracy and quality of pulled product (double-check quantity and condition)Follow proper truck loading and unloading proceduresFollow inventory procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out)Clean and maintain warehouse, including coolers, floors, dock areas, and trashCommunicate with supervisors and warehouse team members regarding operational issuesIdentify and suggest ways to improve productivityMaintain a safe work environment and comply with all HACCP, SQF, and OSHA regulations Required Skills & AbilitiesMinimum High School Diploma or GEDBasic math skills and reading comprehensionFood Handlers Card is a plus (not required)Ability to stand for long periodsAbility to work for extended periods in cold environmentsAble to frequently lift 50–75 lbs
