Job description:

Industrial Electricians install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment used in industrial and manufacturing environments. Participants gain hands-on experience working with electrical distribution systems, motors, motor controls, industrial wiring, and basic programmable logic controller (PLC) concepts. Duties include interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and following OSHA and NFPA safety standards. This SkillBridge opportunity prepares service members for entry-level industrial electrician and maintenance technician roles in manufacturing, logistics, utilities, and industrial facilities.

Participation does not guarantee employment but provides industry-aligned training, credentials, and exposure to potential employers through job placement and job shadowing opportunities. The Puckett Center has a network of employers for interview and placement.
